I am new to this site but not to the act of couch surfing or providing said couch.

I was a social worker for about ten years. I decided I needed to focus on helping myself before I was ever going to provide the help I want to give to others.

I am creating a more beautiful world. I believe that we are the change we want to see in this world; to paraphrase. In every decision we make we have the opportunity to make our reality a little better. If you aren't making someone else's life better you're doing it wrong.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read. From IKEA instructions to Ulysses and everything in between. I read for pleasure and for work. Schematics to Berryman. I love all twenty-six letters and every combination of them.
I like spicy more than sweet.
Movies are good. Even bad ones.
I tend to watch a series at a time. ( Thank you internet.)
