About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be quite frank, my mission is twofold: meet as many interesting people as possible while keeping the trip as cheap as possible. I also want to help people where possible, so should you choose to host me I will not depart without giving something back!
ABOUT ME
I'm a student from Germany soon to be studying in the UK. I like learning about language and culture and I think that this is best done by being passionate about something you love and sharing it with other people. For me that mostly includes movies, video games and anime, bit I also very much enjoy in-depth conversations about culture, the state of the world, outlooks on life and the art of learning.
Aside from that I like keeping myself in shape both mentally and physically, which sometimes collides with my love for sweets and long sleep. Still, I really like challenging myself to trying out new things and helping other people with their problems.
PHILOSOPHY
In the spirit of Sean Plott: enjoy life, laugh, help, contribute and never ever give up!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now, I am only looking to stay, bit I'm planning on offering my owm hospitality once I am able to do so.
When stying with someone, I don't want to be a burden on my host, instead I'd like to help them with whatever it maybe they need.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As of the yet, I have zero experience and am very excited for that to change.
Interests
As listed above, movies, video games, anime, books and all things imaginative and recreational. Also fitness and music, the former actively, the latter - despite my humble experiences playing the guitar - more passively.
I am also a Leo, a member of the youth division of Lions Clubs International. Together we create activities to help local charitable causes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being in Tokio and seeing my father having a conversation with a japanese man in Swedish - proving that there is opportunity for exchange even where you wouldn't expect it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to teach some language skills, or just have a conversation in a language we both know. I'd also love to encourage you to get in shape or help you be more assertive - even if that is something I struggle with myself from time to time, it's wonderful doing it together!
