About Me

I am one of those european twenity-somethings who have the opportunity to have a pretty awesome time while studying with having enough money to get along and also make it to see a bit of the world, which I am very keen to do. I am from a small town close to Hamburg and for my studies in Psychology I had to move to another town in southern Germany which I actually enjoy a lot. I had to discover that southern German beer is actually better than the one from the north, started playing piano 2 years ago and even enjoy my courses :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always imagined traveling to teach you the things school can't. But as I saw in school you need to be attentive to discover. This is why I like couchsurfing the most: by showing you their home towns, hosts can help you to see a place with open eyes and ears- to see the places that matter to the locals (and also they can often value their home a lot more all at once)
Besides that it is just a really nice opportunity to meet a lot very nice, open-minded people all over the world!

Interests

I love running a lot but also I am really into art and music (even classical). Sometimes it is quite a challenge to find someone going to a museum with me. I also love meeting new people and having talks together about pretty much everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do like reading, but don't really have a favourite book or author. As I a German I definitely like German "Classics" as Mann, Goetheand especially Kafka and also there still is so much good modern stuff in German.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking... To camp outside in the nature always gives me a new perspective on life and nothing is as overwhelming

Countries I’ve Visited
