Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host folks, meet up with travelers, guide around the city when I can, and stay with other great hosts when I travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in South Africa, Israel, and Brazil. It was an awesome experience and part of a great 8 month backpacking trip. I feel like couch surfing is the best way to really get to know a place. I've also hosted a number of folks in the past and glad to just meet up for coffee or drinks too.

Interests

A lot of my free time gets wrapped up into hanging out with friends, learning Portuguese, listening to music & NPR, the gym, and walking all over Washington, DC (I'm a huge proponent of walkable communities).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was able to travel for 8 months through 18 countries on five continents. It was an amazing and lucky experience!
