Couchsurfing was like my whole childhood! We moved around a lot from the Midwest USA to the Himalayas in Nepal and everywhere in between. My life has been so enriched by the people I have met along the way!

I love exploring, meeting new people and eating delicious food. When I’m traveling I try to learn about the history, geography and culture around me. Couchsurfing has provided me some of the most “authentic” no touristy experiences. I’d rather chill with you and your friends then see the Eiffel Tower to be honest.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been on couchsurfing for many years now. It was an amazing way to meet cool people when I studied abroad in Spain and traveled through Portugal and Morocco! Everyone I have met has enriched my experience and I learn a lot! I even got to attend a Couchsurfing party in Lisboa, Portugal and hear some amazing stories. I meet couchsurfers everywhere I travel and usually by accident! I love hosting travelers and being a travel guide whenever I can be.

Ive been a lot of places and seen a lot of things. My parents started a chain of rural clinics in Nepal during a civil war. I have a lot of stories about the 25 or so moves Ive had between the Himalayas, Baltimore, India, Thailand, Spain, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Florida!

I saw the sun rise over Mt. Everest.
