About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm currently on a mission to find a bit of land in the UK to call home and build community with my friends focusing on out reach and helping people fall back in love with the earth.

ABOUT ME

I've always been an out going, adventure loving kind of guy. Having travelled for most of my 20s through Australia, New Zealand, south east Asia, India, most of Europe and China I have met some amazing people and look forward to the next encounter.

I moved to London where I worked as primary teacher for 6 years as well as being involved in the Climate Justice group Extinction Rebellion. I now live in Devon and am focused on what the land has to offer me in the way of learning from being still and listening to it.

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow. The path lies before you, let it take its natural course and Don't Panic when it doesn't seem to be going your way the tide will soon turn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

so far i have been a member of the couchSurfing community since the end of 2008 and have known about it for many years and over that time I've spread the word of what an amazing community this is. I surfed in Melbourne and enjoyed my first CouchSurfing christmas there in 2010, theres nothing like sitting down with 30+ people from around the world for christmas dinner and needless to say secret sanata was alot of fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am no stranger to sleeping on couchs, chairs, floors, trains or planes. So far I've met nothing but good souls who've takin me into their homes and shown me the ropes around about town.

Interests

Snowboarding, Rugby Union..well sport in almost every form. Obviously exploring and just trying new things to make this life worth while.

Music, Movies, and Books

My tastes are eclectic with my favorites including Brewester's Millions and Fight Club, Children of Men and the Devils Advocate, to name but a few. The books I've enjoyed most include Trainspoting,A clock work orange and day of the triffids, Catch 22 and i'm currently reading To Kill A Mockingbird. i enjoy a bit of Incubus, but you can't beat chasse & status on the night time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

after the opening ceromony of the 2004 Olympics I watched the sun rising over Athens from half way up the Acropolis. After jumping the fence with a German girl whos name i never found out, we sat there with its heat burning off the mist that sat over the white roofs of the streets below, it was almost like watching the acient city rise from the waters of the Agean Sea.
