ABOUT ME

Am mature, witty, humourous, clean, tidy, friendly, polite, considerate, responsible and reliable, generally quiet (meaning am not a loud person but gentle and soft spoken), can engage in meaningful conversation with almost anybody and in any topic, have traveled to many parts of the world and have also lived in several countries, also able to communicate well in 6 different languages.

PHILOSOPHY

What is the meaning of life? My answer is: to make your own dreams come true, and to help others achieve their aspirations.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had first surfing experience in Argentina staying with a female host in a tiny studio apartment where she didn't speak much English at all while I spoke almost no Spanish, but it turned out a very positive and fun experience, since then I have been making many nice friendships, and lots of positive hosting and surfing experiences. Enjoy cooking, travelling, trying out different food, fishing, scuba diving, hiking,swimming, biking, kayaking, skiing, reading, meeting people from all over the world, learning their cultures and languages, listening to all sorts of songs/music, playing ping pong, pool/billiard/snooker, watching/playing football/soccer, volleyball and basketball. Love photography, history, geography, architecture, stamp collecting, fine arts, animals, pet fish and cats.

Actually, more than one things, but to name a few:
Seeing so many beautiful marine creatures while scuba diving in Bunaken Marine National Park in Sulawesi Indonesia, in Maldives, in Hawaii, Bora Bora in Tahiti, Ko Pi Pi in Thailand, and Batangas and Mactan Cebu in the Philippines.
Seeing 6 Orcas (Killer Whales) 50 metres from me when fishing from shore in Auckland New Zealand, and dolphins surfing with our boat during offshore fishing in the Bay of Plenty in NZ.
Watching the Men Ice Hockey Gold Medal match between Canada vs USA during the last game of Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010 and Canada won, then proceeded to attend the closing ceremony, where we were entertained by the best and most famous Canadian singers/bands, eg Michael Buble, Nickelback, Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morisette, etc, then after the closing ceremony, witnessed the crazy and amazing streets parties and celebrations of Canadian beating USA in ice hockey final (to those who are not familiar with ice hockey, ice hockey is Canada's national sport, and USA is Canada's arch rival, no offence to American) and Canada's top ranking with the record of 14 gold medals, throughout the night all over Vancouver.
Seeing the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis, and doing dog sledding in Sub-Artic Canada.
Saw the breathtaking Iguazu/Iguacu Falls in Argentina and Brazil.
Hang-gliding in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.
Visited Plitvice National Park in Croatia and saw many magical waterfalls and tranquil lakes.
Rode a brand new Mercedes Benz Police Car in high speed in downtown Hamburg with siren on, for fun, courtesy of my cs host (who is also a policeman).
Hiked the Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) and stood on the edge of the most famous protruding rock/cliff (the most promoted tourist picture but yet elusive to most tourists) in Geiranger fjord, in Norway.
Seeing spectacular sunset and sunrise all within 1 hour over the horizon of the sky of Greenland.
Traveled in 4x4 for 4days in the high altitude area of Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia.
Did the Trans Siberian Railway from Vladivostok to Irkutsk in Russia.
Climbed all 4 famous mountains in China (eg Taishan, Huangshan, Ermeishan and Huashan).
