About Me

I haven't hosted in years, but loved Couchsurfing when I was still young and single :) By now I've bought a house with my girlfriend, where we live together with our beautiful baby boy. I work as a journalist, copywriter and ghostwriter. A storyteller, quoi. I'm always looking for new stories to tell. Maybe yours?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not comfortable hosting anymore, but I'd still like to show you around the city if I find the time. I'm freelance, so my schedule can be pretty flexible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, and partied in an abandoned prison. I swam in the Caribbean Sea under the watchful eye of Mayan town Tulum. I think landing in Las Vegas by night is absolutely wonderful. I had a fucking expensive drink in a Greek brothel and still didn't get laid. I spent six days with the woman of my life on Gili Trawangan, where there are no motorized vehicles and everybody is just having fun. It was Paradise. I strolled over the Island of 'Lost' in Hawaii, but didn't find the Others. I listened to Cuban kids doing awful but amazing covers of Beatles songs in Havana. And I hopped on a snow scooter in Iceland, which is something else.

But seriously, the most amazing thing I'm doing every day, and that's raising our son.

Teach, Learn, Share

The only thing I really want to learn, is how to become a better part of this world (boy that sounds awful). What I mean is: any lesson, conversation, connection with someone else that doesn't make me think I'm wasting my time, is basically what I'm after. Because that's the stuff that connects me to the world.

I just want to talk and joke and have fun, man. That's what learning is all about.
