ABOUT ME

Born in Berlin, raised in Bavaria, studied in Karlsruhe and Edinburgh, and just moved to Barcelona to do a PhD. As far as I can tell I characterize myself as uncomplicated, down-to-earth, extrovert, humourous and active. I like being surrounded by people, hanging out with people of my kind and going out! I also enjoy all kinds of sports. Try to get the most out of the day!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to host interesting people, like to show them around, have a nice time!

For traveling myself, I like to get to know places out of the view of their locals. CS is perfect for that!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was recently traveling and couchsurfing through the western US for 2 month, where I have made first couchsurfing experiences. It was awesome, meeting just the most interesting and fun people in their local environments.
Hosted a few people in Barcelona. Always interesting and fun!

Interessi

Having a good time with friends. Going out, partying.
All kinds of sports, especially soccer, squash, jogging, tennis, hiking in summer, skiing in winter.
And of course traveling, flying off to different countries. The ideal trip would be with a unpredicted route, not knowing where you end up.

Musica, film e libri

The books I read last, were 'Miss Smilla's feeling for snow' Peter Hoeg, Charles Bukowski 'Women' & 'Hot Water Music', 'Into the Wild' Jon Krakauer, 'Solar' Ian McEwan.

Hmmm, music: all kinds of electronic music and indie stuff. i.e. trentemoller, Sascha Funke, Quantic, Magda, Hendrik Vogel, Dominik Eulberg, Darwin Deez, Francis International Airport, The Drums, The Kooks, Boy, Hot Chip etc.

I like Woody Allen movies. also movies like
Napoleon Dynamite, Eagle vs. Shark, Beginners
Or silly comedies, with actors like Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Seth Rogan ...

One amazing thing I've seen, was Lars Ricken's goal in the 1997 CL final ... and Is aw a bear walking right into our campsite in Yosemite NP.
