CURRENT MISSION
To travel. To connect. To learn. To art. To be.
ABOUT ME
My husband (Ben) and I (Ashley) have left the US and our jobs to go experience life and connect with interesting people. We seek opportunities to explore nature (trekking, kayaking, biking or anything else); learn other cultures; drink coffee and beer; hear new music and dance; find new art and artists wherever we go. He is a graphic designer and music producer and I am a painter / street artist and a registered nurse.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We just recently quit our jobs to follow our dreams of traveling the world. We're most interested in connecting with people we wouldn't have met otherwise. We look forward to sharing stories and creating memories with fellow couchsurfers from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
So many. If you suggest some of your own favorites we will too in return.
Though, I guess if we had to pick one genre of each, they'd be:
Book: travel memoir
Movie: documentary
Music: electronic
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We are mountaineers at heart and have climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Cotopaxi and Pico de Orizaba to name a few. In the process we raised over $35,000 to benefit breast cancer research and took these pledges to each summit.
Teach, Learn, Share
We are clean, tidy and respectable people. We love learning about other cultures and we love sharing our travel stories and experiences thus far.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Kindness, good laughs, some good quality human connection. If we have anything that we can give of material value we will but we are living with only what's on our backs.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Chile, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Switzerland, Tanzania, United Kingdom
