Overview
About Me
I'm an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the USA. However, I'm currently studying abroad at la Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain where I will be spending a lot of my time traveling around Spain and the rest of Western Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy the occasional adventure here and there. After doing some research, I've come to realize that Couchsurfing isn't just about having a cheap place to stay for the night. It's about sharing an experience. It provides both guest and host the opportunity to interact with different cultures, experiment with new ideas, and perhaps even incorporate these new ideas into one's way of life and value system.
Interests
I've recently picked up ballroom dancing (Latin and Standard) and Latin social dancing (Salsa/Bachata/Merengue). So far, I've loved the salsa lifestyle.
I also sincerely enjoy food and cooking. I tend to view gastronomy as a science, a science that results in beautiful works of art. The chef is like a chemist, constantly working on new iterations of his product, brainstorming how to make it better, perfecting every little detail of it until he creates the final product, his masterpiece, his Mona Lisa.
Academically, I'm interested in the field of neuroscience, be that research or medicine. (But you probably don't care about that.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Highest bungee jump in Latin America (Monteverde, Costa Rica). As someone who is intensely terrified of heights, I think this is testimony to my openness to try new things.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach me what you know, and I'll do the same.
I like to experience the salsa scene of each town I visit. If you're a salsero, I'd love to learn a thing or two from you. If not, I'd be glad to introduce you to the salsa lifestyle if you're interested.
If you enjoy cooking, I'd love to add a new dish to my repertoire and share one of my own.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good time.
