After almost two years on the road we have settled down in central England (for now). We are both archaeologist by education and Tom still looks for old stuff in the ground while I moved to another career.

I love languages and learning about other cultures. I like true crime, working in my little garden, rock climbing, running and gym.
Tom is interested in politics and economy. He loves comedy, watching rugby and cooks some great Indian curries.

We have just adopted a cat and she is the sweetest creature you will ever meet. We love good food and drink, and are usually up for going out for a drink and to listen to live music.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When travelling we like to avoid being only tourist separated from the place with fences around pools. We want to participate, to learn, understand, to feel the spirit of visited place.
Finally having space to host we we'd like to give back to the CS community, meet other travellers, share experiences, points of views and recipes.

Interests

We're both interested in history and culture, especially of Central and South America. And archaeology, of course! We love geology, and Tom is very passionate about astronomy.

We're curious about other people customs, traditional dances, food - we love new tastes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Magda listens mostly to rock, metal and ethno music. Tom likes most of types of music, but his real love is happy hardcore. We avoid reaggeton at all cost.

Few favourite films: Easy Rider, Caballos salvajes, Apocalipse Now, Aguirre, the Wrath of God. Tim Burton's and Werner Herzog's films and animations like South Park and Family Guy.
