ABOUT ME
I am a very open-minded person who really like to meet new people and learn from them. My friends say I am good-humored, I think I am optimistic and out-going. Also, I do smile all the time, I smile for myself and for others.
For now, I am planning a tour of Asia which is due to begin in November 2013. I have been fascinated by Asia for a while and now is my chance to explore it.
PHILOSOPHY
These two quotes completely express my own conviction and summarize it in a way I couldn't have:
âSometimes your joy is the source of your smile, but sometimes your smile can be the source of your joy.â Thich Nhat Hanh (Vietnamese Buddhist monk)
âThe world is like a mirror; frown at it, and it frowns at you. Smile and it smiles, tooâ Herbert Samuels (British politician and diplomat)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I host someone I always try to tell them as much as I know about the place I leave in. And if I have time I really like to take them out and show them around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been a host more often than I have been hosted. I enjoy both side of the couchsurfing experience.
Interests
I am very curious. And I like learning about eveything!
I also like experimenting, being creative. I like painting and drawing during my free time.
I also really enjoy cooking (and it is not only because I am french).
I have a huge interest for other cultures and mainly those from Asia. I am currently learning Japanese and I have just take on Chinese. I think it is essential to learn the basic of a language to visit a country.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to movies or music I am not too picky. I will watch or listen to pretty much anything because that's the only way to discover. However I will remember only few.
Books. I love books, old fashion books. I can't get myself to read digital ones. I know they are much more practical (especially when you travel) but you don't get to touch the paper or smell the ink. With a digital book the experience feels incomplete.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I have done in my life = walking 10 km on the Great Wall. Just awesome! The views are stunning and you realised how much work that would have been to build something that impressive.
