About Me

Hi everyone!

Somebody says we're not those who choose our dreams but that the dreams choose us.

This is what I let'em do with me!

I feel like I'm walking on a path, sometimes it's just a walk, sometime a run, sometime it needs a break somewhere. And then I start again...

My biggest interests include sports, travelling, wild nature, unconditional love to human beings and animals, extreme life styles, a big desire to understand life from all its perspectives, science&technology, society and more.

I was born in Milan, grew up in the area around Lecco Lake but I've been living in Sydney, Australia, since 2011.

I consider myself a traveller, a kind of tech-nomad one.

Physicist converted to Software Engineer, I've been working on Android applications in the last 6 years and now I'm trying to become a freelancer, in detail a digital-nomad.

Some of the great experiences and thoughts that are full-filling this part of my life involve sports like Enduro-motorbike and hiking, new disciplines like yoga and meditation, a way of thinking where our-self is the most important thing every one should focus on and peace of mind is a goal we can reach in our path and a point from where to proceed on, an year and a half spent living in my self-converted campervan in Sydney and around Australia, deep connections with great people, profound considerations about life and society and so on.

At the moment I’m in Europe, to spend some quality time with family and friends and to travel and re-discover this amazing continent that unquestionably has some of the best natural and cultural beauties of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love and sharing, two of strongest forces of the universe. :)

To help and connect with open-minded people, to share stories and experiences while trying to meet locals in the places I travel.

Interests

I love motorsports for the adrenaline they transmit you.

Extreme hiking as I love the idea to rely only on myself and on what I bring in my backpack while exploring wild nature and find connection with it.

DIY master, I give a lot of importance to environment and better ways to respect and sustain this planet.

Be surrounded by people, people I choose to be connected with, because experiences have another taste when shared with someone you love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitely, converting a simple Volkswagen T5 van into a campervan and living in it for an year and a half has been one of the most beautiful and exciting thing I've done so far.

In that period I focused on exploring common and remote area of Australia, wild-nature-immersed locations where I have learnt to have a deep connection with nature.

Nature for me is not just something I extremely love and enjoy, it's a necessity, something that I need.

I lived in my van for choice. Because it's far the best way to do what I need. Spending most of my time under the blue sky, surrounded by green, by the ocean, listening to the nature, doing all the sport activities I like.

And it's the most flexible lifestyle that I've always dreamt about.

On February 2015 I left my job, I spent about three months converting what it was an empty van into what became my home.
Once completed I left Sydney and enjoyed freedom like never before.

I travelled for 7 months, it's been a big adventure.

Some pics about what this lifestyle used to be for me are available here: https://goo.gl/photos/omBPmvxAVQ5rqPpr8

I built/mount every single thing you see in it.
