I live in Groningen in the Netherlands. I work at Just Eat delivery on my crappy bike. I really enjoy being with my friends and girlfriend in my free time. Socializing and sharing stories is something I'm always in for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started my first trip September of 2021.
I was travelling from one destination to the other, on my way I was doing Workaway jobs. I'd rather meet new people and have new experiences than having to go to hotels. So if you prefer CS or Workaway as well, you are welcome to stay the night and crash on my extra mattress. I look forward to meet you.

Interests

I play guitar since 2016 or something. I really enjoy playing. I just love to play around with my Ukelele Master Friend Hans who is also a CouchSurfer.
Sadly I don't have any mountains in my backyard. Oh... I don't have a backyard either. But being in nature and enjoying life is something I really dig.

60's and 70's music? Yes please!
I started reading 'Life' an autobiography of Keith Richards about a half year ago. Did not make any progress so far;) I now got an autobiography of Dave Grohl as well. Same story as the Keith Richards book. Maybe that's why my last name is Boekweg (Book-away)
I think Charlie in the chocolate factory, documentaries and films like Pineapple Express are nice films to watch on a cozy night.

I am able to teach you a little bit of guitar but I'm no pro, so expect fun over learning skills.
