We're Carien and Berend. We're together for 11 years and one of our shared interests is traveling and talking and learning about that. Since we've traveled ourselves and settled down we miss the interaction with people from other cultures and countries. And why not keep doing that to get a break from normal life?! Berend is a teacher at a (green) school for gardeners and Carien works in market research. We love to hang out with interesting people and having a beer in combination with a talk about life. We're easy going and love to guide you around our beautiful city and surroundings!

Because we both have a busy job we're not always able to host. Most of the weekends we are available and sometimes a day during the week. And of course during vacation periods. Give it a try... we would love to meet you! 😊 You can request for a stay up to 3 nights.

We are a couple that is interested in traveling ourselves. We are not the huge partying types, but are interested in having a good conversation and showing you around in the city and the beautiful areas surrounding it. We can also guide you around in the Dutch way of living. I once made an account to use it while traveling. But never used it in the end because we constantly met nice people in hostels. Now that we're back we're going to try and host because we miss the interaction with people from other cultures and countries.

We love to travel and talk about that. We're also really interested in other cultures and good stories! Berend knows a lot of the city and the Dutch landscape in general and loves to share his knowledge!
