hey! i'm anne and i live in antwerpen. i studied at the art academy and love to make things. very curious about anything, but especially about people. that's why i started studying social work.
my favorite thing to do in antwerpen is seeing live jazz music in the little pubs. i also like to practice my green thumb by working in the garden. swimming in nature, listening to and looking at people, going to the natural history museum or botanical garden are also how i like spending my time

going to the cinema is something i really like, but also going to the library to borrow a stack of dvds. especially anything by eric rohmer and mike mills.

reading is also nice, mostly philosophy or childrensbooks

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a hitchhiking trip trough the balkan. the kindness and hospitality of people was amazing, as well as the little farmhouses with vegetable gardens, the calm and wild rivers, the hundreds of trees with ripe plums, the small towns full of old ladies in floral printed dresses and secret cafes in backgardens.

also my travel trough morocco. so many interesting colors, smells and people.. and good food!
