I'm a native New Yorker and yoga teacher, currently living in Brooklyn, NYC.

Travel is the highlight of my life. What's the point of life if not to experience new things? I love seeing new architecture, eating new foods, and learning about the history of new places. Art museums, parks, and public transportation in new cities all fascinate me. I just love seeing the way different people in the world live.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love the experience of meeting locals and seeing their real lives in a foreign city. Whenever I've couch surfed, it's always been the highlight of my trip.

In 2011 I studied abroad in Edinburgh, and during that time couchsurfed in Paris, Florence, and Rome. Courchsufing was the best part of my trip through Europe.

In September 2017 I traveled through Croatia and stayed with two completely amazing hosts in two different cities who made my time there exceptional.

Now, in November 2018 I will be traveling through Eastern Europe (Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary) and would love to couchsurf again!

Intereses

I'm a native New Yorker, living there now, and love my city. I also love spending time in nature, whether it's hiking mountains, or swimming in the ocean. I enjoy being active and exploring new places through running. I ran 3 half marathons this year, that kind of counts for a full marathon, right? I also find peace through doing yoga, and this year I got certified to teach professionally. Dancing is a huge form of release for me, I love going out to nightclubs and concerts simply to dance for hours. Food is life. I love cooking, and trying new restaurants. I am also super addicted to coffee and drink some every morning (let's meet over a cup). I was an English Literature major in University, and I love sitting in coffee shops to read and talk about books, especially novels in the genre of Magical Realism. One of my favorite things to do when I explore a new city is to visit art museums and independent art galleries, I think art shows so much about the culture (I'd love to hear your recommendations).
