ABOUT ME

I'm 27 years old and I just finished grad school here in DC. I love to travel and I am so grateful that I was able to host people for 2 years while I live in Japan. Even though I may not be able to host people again for a while, I hope to participate in Couchsurfing in any way that I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting people from all over the world and I also want to be helpful to fellow travelers such as myself. So, I want to welcome all to stay in my apartment while visiting Takayama to add to their Japan experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since September 2008 I've hosted a number of couchsurfers and have had nothing but positive experiences. The 60+ people who've come through my apartment have made my life here in Japan exponentially. Hosting people constantly reminds me how lucky I am to be living in Takayama and lets me know that I shouldn't take it for granted.

I hope to be able to help travelers in Takayama with my knowledge of the city and the language. I've met a lot of foreign tourists here who have a hard time getting by and I want to do my best to enhance their experience!
