About Me

I am tall girl from a small town, I consider myself as a positivie person, I always try to put on a smile on your face anytime 'cause I don't take things really serious (It depends the situation) but I always have something funny to say. Right now I´m living in the second most important city in Guatemala and is Quetzaltenango, which I love it, I´ve been living here since 2008, this is my second home ´cause is similar somehow to my hometown, but I am looking forward to live in a big city or country, I have a lot of dreams, I am independent, funny, I might be a little bit quiet or shy when you first know me but when you start knowing me I enjoy the company a lot. My friends and all people that I know say that I'm a great friend who you can trust. I have the philosophy that you have to always try new things before something happens to

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have to say that I´m never done this before, which means that I don´t have a real CS experience yet, so my brother told me about this and I am wiling to start a new adventure in my life, and also I think this world is full of wonders and people too, so I'm ready to meet new people and learn a lot about so many different cultures and while I'm writting this I'm getting more excited.

Interests

Music, there's nothing better in this world than that, I can't live a day without hearing something about my favourite songs or anything. Also, I would love to visit new countries, cities, villages, etc, and obviously people from anywhere.

I would like to learn to cook, also I would love live in other country and study too. RIght now I almost graduated from collegue so in the future could have the chance to achieved a scolarship to have a master dregree related in business and I don´t know maybe star a new company. In other hand, I would really enjoy heading as many festival as I can that would be extraordinary.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: There's a lot to talk about it that I would be happy to do it, but I have to start with those bands that I can´t live without: Radiohead, Beach House, Ariel Pink, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, The Smiths, Deerhunter, Bjork, Mac DeMarco, Joy Division, Kurt Vile, Honne, Massive Attack, Cocteu Twins Burial, FKA Twigs, Hot Chip, Disclosure, Jamie xx, The National, The Beatles, Run The Jewels, Vampire Weekend, James Blake, Yo La Tengo, and this list is endless I guess.

Movies: a good movie is a good way to live, there are a lot of them that would be endless too. But I´m such a big fan of all Star Wars movies, The Goodfather, American Beauty, Stanley Kubrick´s movies, Scorsese´s movies, etc.

Shows:
Breaking Bad ( I know that it´s over but it will be always in my heart lol), Game of Thrones, Master Chef and master chef junior, The Simpson, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, two years ago I was spanish teacher and I tought spanish people from India, Canada, England, Australia, Germany, France, USA, Netherlands, Israel, etc. And it was a great experience beacuse they always talked to me about their countries, the cities and countries that they´ve visited, the cultures, the new future adventures, all experiences and that made me really want to do that in a near future beacuse according to them is one of the best experience ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach some spanish if you want but I would share my friendship and all my energy.
