My name is Berit, I am 26 years old and working in the maritime industry.

I am really positive and open hearted and love meeting new people, exchanging gives me a lot of positive energy. I love all cultural things like museums, exhibitions, poetry slams or discovering new bands at small club concerts. I'm up for every kind of activity except going to the gym.

I truly believe that we are all laughing in the same language. We should focus more on what we have in common rather than what sets us apart.

The only way to overcome stereotypes and xenophobia is to get in touch with each other. I don't want to explore a new country or city just as a tourist. I would like to stay with locals and see how they live instead of sleeping in an anonymous hotel. For me it's not a cheap place to sleep: for me it's making friends, sharing memories and experiences or having deep conversations with a cheap bottle of wine.

I'm a true indie music lover, but also a huge fan of 80s music less known and german bands. My all time favorite band is the German indie rock band Kraftklub.
I have a lovely addiction to high school/college movies and old western, I can recommend the best ones or share my netflix account during the stay at your place - but horror movies are excluded.
