Overview
About Me
I recently started my sabbatical, so I am on leave for one year and that's great!
I have plenty of time for travelling around, discovering places I've never been before, getting to know new people, ideas, gaining new experiences and inspirations. That's what I am looking for and I enjoy it.
Looking back on a 32-year-old relationschip with me ;-), I claim that I am an open-minded, sociable and friendly person, but please convince yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Seems to me a really good possibility to get in touch with locals, getting tips and hints for discovering spots at first hands and sharing experiences (of the day trip or of life).
Interests
sportive and cultural activities (I played handball for 13 years, I like playing batminton, biking, hiking, swimming and am interested in sports in general. I like to go in the theatre, cinema, museum, to concerts e.g.), experiences of nature, travelling, reading

Music, Movies, and Books
I do not have preferences regarding music, I am listening to rock, pop, electronic, ska, classic, black and world music. It depends in which mood I am.
Books, I've read recently and that impressed me:
Steven Uhly: Glückskind
Meike Winnemuth: Das große Los
Annika Reich: 34 Meter über dem Meer
Julia Engelmann: Eines Tages, Baby
Movies I recently watched and liked:
Höhere Gewalt (Original title: Turist), Monsieur Claude und seine Töchter (Original title: Qu’est-ce qu’on a fait au Bon Dieu?), Hin und Weg
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Currently I am hiking through the Black Forest in Southwest Germany and for me this is amazing.
