ABOUT ME

After a year abroad I am back home and meeting up with old friends. I am still looking for a permanent new residence.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy life! Even if things seem somewhat dim with the right perspective you can turn the light back on. -uuppsss- that sounds a little spiritual, which I am not. What I mean is, that I tend to see the good things even if a situation doesn`t clearly call for that interpretation. I am a notorious optimist with a strain of pragmatism in it. So hysteria or panic are just not my thing.

I am just starting to explore the possibilities. At the moment I am on the taking side. But as soon as I am back in Leipzig I plan to give back to people and show my city and y good time.

Interests

I am involved in different projects. My favorite one is singing in a choir. We cover german punkrock and get invited to sing at festivals or parties. I sometimes help organize those festivals in order to make some money for non-profit organizations or non-commercial projects.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like graphic novels. I studied German Literature and liked many of these books but could not chosse a favorite. I am a big sucker for sci-fi though. I like a lot of different kinds of music. From american folk through German punk rock, drum`n bass, singer/songwriter-stuff, to electro (pop), rap... Some of my favorite bands are: Beasty Boys, Sonic Youth, Ton Steine Scherben, The Notwist...
