Overview
About Me
Hello everyone! I'm a 23-yo mechanical engineering student from Turkey. My friends and family would describe me as a friendly, down to earth, chill and funny person. And they'd also tell that I'm super tall, which is correct. I'm a 6'7'' giant with a gentle heart. I love sports and even played basketball on elite level. I'm interested in cooking and always down to learn a new cuisine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Even though I'm a very busy student, I try to make some time for travelling, learning new cultures and meeting people from all around the world. I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet and spend time with people from different cultures, both as a host or a guest.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not very picky in terms of music, as long as it sounds good to me, I will listen to that. In general, I listen to rock music, some indie, some folk, a bit of punk and lots of other genres as well.
I like comic books, which also count as movie genre. My favorite movie is Fight Club. As genres, I love sci-fi and comedy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 16 years old, I was selected for a basketball camp in USA.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: My culture, the way I see things, cooking, basketball.
Learn: New cultures, new people, languages, food.
Share: Laughs, food, drinks.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am always willing to share whatever I can, if you want a companion for drinks or someone to talk to, I'm all in. I did some amateur stand-up comedy which helps when you want to have some fun conversations. I believe I'm a good cook and I'd love to cook for my hosts, what a great way of exchanging cultures and cuisines. If you like basketball or sports in general, I can talk about it for hours. I will also gladly help you reaching places that are too high, as a 6'7'' guy, that's no problem for me!
