Overview
About Me
Hi there, I am an extrovert fella from Kadıköy district of Istanbul, Turkey. I define myself as a very sociable, open-minded and warm person. I currently study English Language Teaching at Marmara University. I've always been keen on getting to know new people and also the cultures all around. I love traveling and sightseeing more than anything. However, I've always loathed explaining myself in a text rather than a two-sided conversation. Sorry in advance for not being able to come up with a fancy About me text that will spread good vibes all around. :D
And also sometimes I hate not being a girl so it would be easier to find a host and host more people...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Actually, I was using a facebook group between Turkish people. It almost serves to the same purpose Couchsurfing does. However, the community lacks internationality. And I am also a little bit more excited about sharing this experience with people from different cultures and background and I believe that this will enhance my world-view even more!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love old school rock n roll. Whitesnake, Deep Purple if we go deeper I could name bands such as Asia, Toto, Savatage etc. Also a little bit glam such as Mötley Crüe, Dokken and heavy metal but not extreme usually old school stuff. Last but not least Synthwave!
I could talk hours and hours about Middle Earth and Tolkien's universe and about Lord of The Rings. I usually prefer political books, but mostly fantasy.
Inglorious Basterds, Schindler's List, The Lord of The Rings, Usual Suspects, Heat are the first a few movies that comes to my mind right away but I almost completely seen the IMDb top 250! :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking all over Turkey for a month with only few bucks on my pocket with my friend, that was an amazing experience for me. I realised how helpful and generous people are!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, all the stuff in the home are available for mutual use including bathroom and kitchen. I can help with English and I would really enjoy if someone who speaks Spanish can teach me a few thing or two. Also always open for conversations and stuff.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am fluent in English and also an English teacher. I could help the host practice their speaking. Also if necessary can help with their assignments if they have one. I could help with the cleaning, go to the market basically anything I can give a hand. A listener or a friend to hang out with I can be that! Grab a few gifts maybe a drink, or snacks and also they will have a second home in Istanbul. That is for granted!
