I am a wannabe filmmaker, who is not so much a wannabe but more an actual student of film. I also like very dry, and also very NOT dry comedy. I play a lot of really nerdy video games, that require more attention than a human baby to get up and start working the way I want them to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined to find places to stay with people I don't know, because I'm moving to another country! I also want to eventually have a house where I, too, can have guests!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like old glamorous disco tracks and juke-y techno tunes, also any classic karaoke jam.

Movies: I'm a film student, so I'm only allowed to like critically acclaimed movies and really underrated indie flicks that nobody knows about. Also, if there's someone nearby who knows more about film than I do, I'm inclined to say that 'Citizen Kane is the best movie of all time!'

Books: Waiting for Godot, Faust, any Fantasy anthology, Labyrinths (Jorge Luis Borges' short stories)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've translated a book about sustainable architecture titled 'A Vertical Forest', or in it's original name ' Bosco Verticale', from English into my native language, Turkish.

The process was draining to say the least, but pretty rewarding too!
