About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go.

ABOUT ME

I quit my job at Delta to start a toy company called Sandboxr. Wanderlust hits me pretty hard from time to time but I'm having a blast learning the world of business. I love it when my company let's me travel to different cities as it reminds me of my airline years. Meeting new people and learning from them is one of life's great treasures- I think Couchsurfing is the next best thing to wikipedia!

I love to the outdoors and am a sucker for snowboarding, climbing and running. I finally qualified for the boston marathon and have a goal this year to break a sub 3 hour marathon. Fingers crossed.

Drawing, painting, vfx and creating in general make up a healthy day for me. I'm just now learning to program in a computer language or two. Plainly put, I love my work- it's my passion.

PHILOSOPHY

I admit my personal beliefs and philosophy are still quiet malleable- i believe in being good, I believe in living each day the best we can, I believe in moving forward in the face of uncertainty. I want to learn, I want to share, I want to see, I want to live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had the opportunity to host some great people at my house in SLC as well as stay with great folks from around the world. I've made several life long friends on the Couchsurfing network.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Here's a crazy story:
I once had a last minute surfer stay at my house in the winter during the Sundance film festival. She was flying stand by and couldn't get on her flight and needed a place to stay til the next flight. We chatted for a couple of hours, I gave her the couch, and then I took her to the airport again 4 or 5 hours later. As is typical I thought that would be the extent of our relationship.

I was traveling back from the Philippines 5 or so months later from a work trip and had a lay over in Tokyo. As I was in line to get my seat assignment the girl in front of me turned around and it was the couchsurfer from earlier that winter! Even more wild, we happened to be seated next to each other and were able to catch up on the entire flight back to the states. We have since become fast friends.
