Hey! I'm Kaan, a 23-year-old computer engineering graduate who has recently finished his studies and started working as a Consultant. Unlike all the members on this site claims, I'm not gonna tell you I'm an easy going person who likes sunsets and long walks by the beach.

In the past, I've traveled a quite few places, studied and lived in different countries abroad. I studied at both Stockholm University and the Australian National University as an exchange student and completed several internships in the Netherlands and Australia. After all, I gotta admit I sometimes miss those times and those wonderful cultures I got to experience. I'm not sure for how long I'll be staying in Istanbul, as I'm considering heading to Holland at some point towards the end of the summer. However, while I'm still in town, I'd like to host guests and show them the real gems in the city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is definitely a chance to see the places from locals’ perspective. I often ask my hosts to show me areas seldom visited by tourists, tell me some stories about their city and make me feel home. I also would like to do the same for my guests and take them to the places hidden from tourists as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a somewhat comfy couch that comes with my generous hospitality. I'd like to host people who are traveling or looking for a place to stay in Istanbul for a couple of days. In the meantime, I'd love to show you around and give you some tips about the cities and the cool places around.
