I am an Antiques dealer and interior designer from Istanbul. Fetishistically interested in history and mentalities that surround different times and different peoples. My recent feeling about the life I live is that I am in voyage of Anatolia's different pasts and layers. Additionally, I design buildings and hope to build them in the future. I like to spend hours in museums and wander in cities. Organize events with peculiar atmospheres in my historical flat and make people experience those, hoping to learn what communion is and what forms it can take, to discover interaction in all its kinds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I shot a feature length film, almost created a political crisis between Turkey and Armenia and made hundreds chant a mantra in opposition to political oppression in Turkey.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can taste, smell, see, feel, experience different things together ranging from tasting food to looking into each others eyes for an hour as a meditation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge of meditation with my hosts, meditation here is not to mean what we generally understand of meditation nowadays, for it is filtered via an industry of media and obsession of health. I tried to keep my understanding of meditation clear from those by learning from ancient sources and trying to practice as they have told.

Otherwise, if my hosts would request I can try to share my knowledge of photography, architecture and history. I would love to tell my ideas, that I have come to by tracking and reflecting on artifacts, on mentalities and their change thorough time and place.
