I'm a 20 y.o. Economics and Management student in Milano. I am a huge sports fan. I like taking pictures, travelling and watching movies.

I am trying to learn how to cook since I started living abroad alone by 2017.

After I became 18, I've decided to develop a new skill each year and 2018's skill is drawing/sketching.

I am in an organization called European Youth Parliament which allows me to travel a lot around Europe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been travelling quite often in Europe past few years and I didn't get to meet many people during my visits. I hope CS will help me make new friends and meet locals.

Interests

My main hobby is doing and watching sports. I was a licensed basketball, volleyball and tennis player and a high jumper. I like watching football, tennis and cycling.

I am interested in cinema especially European cinema.

Moving to Italy forced me to learn how to cook so now I am eager to learn new dishes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to classical music while studying, Pop/Rock while running and Turkish pop when I wanna cheer up. I'd go with Queen as my favourite band but Taylor Swift is my guilty pleasure.

Sherlock is my favourite series overall and Friends is my favourite sit-com.

My favourite movies are La Vie d'Adele and Kış Uykusu(Winter Sleep). Inception is my favouurite American movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started high jumping and left my basketball team on 10th grade. By the end of the year I was the 2nd best jumper of all the high schools in Istanbul.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Turkish since it is my native language and also help beginners with French and English.

Although I am not a photographer, I love taking pictures so I would love to go on daily trips around the city to photograph locals and .

I like to go on 3k-4k runs in every city I visit so I'd love to go to a run with my host.

I can bring souvenirs, drinks or food depending on where I start my trip.
