About Me

Current Mission (do I have now?)

Balance work with bits of travel, and build on solo traveling or with friends. More importantly, meet people, talk about anything under the sun (or moon), and basically make the best out of every second and live a happier life.

I am an office boy, with a hint of spontaneity should I be with similar people. If I'm not in the office, I might be in a meeting (*thumbs down*), or better, on field work.

Update: currently stationed in Tokyo until July. So I’m down to hangout, travel with anyone who’s around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As my field does not really make me rich, monetarily, rather it fills me with the fulfillment of doing something good for the environment and the people in this world (no don't call me a saint, I ain't one), I grow accustom to interacting with people, sharing stories and sometimes helping one in some way or another.

More so, my field allows me to travel (for now, locally), and get a sense of what's the culture and how things are there.

Hence, I'm seeing Couchsurfing, as a platform for me to take pleasure and more of what I normally do. So to sum it up, I'm here to meet people, gain tips in travelling (or help somebody) and anything under the sun!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Alternative, Pop , RnB, EDM. But any music is fine. I used to part-time as a DJ back in college. And well, any music request then was surely swell.

Movies:
Apocalypto, Lion, Kingsman, White Chicks, Spirited Away, Grave of the Fireflies, and mostly any other comedy, sci-fi, animation film (yeah, such a kid)

Series: I'm a geek, so I kinda like science fiction, stripped from comics. But I also enjoy episodes of Greek, Spartacus, Skins.

Books:
The Alchemist, The Little Prince, Sociology

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aside from travelling solo, meeting up people, and linking one stranger to another until we are a group of 10 or so, probably experiencing the to-do in the place I visit to (and that's how I live to take pleasure in the work I do)

Some includes river rafting, canyoneering, parasailing and many more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share what CSers want to know and learn of my culture, place and if its interesting for them, about me! Oh it will be a great chat over a drink or something.

Profoundly speaking, I really want to learn about our cultural differences, yet at one point, we still jive and get along. How cool is that, right? Be able to try something you like doing, or you'd like to share.

And yeah, I can share my cultural roots, from language, food (maybe, I can bring/cook some Filipino food for you!), what I do in the gym (Muay Thai, oh I'm no expert ok?), and yeah anything I can think of at that moment.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Filipino culture. Not the mañana habit or being late (but I will try not to), yet more of like you seem to meet a long lost brother or something.

If I'm free I can tour you around the metro, grab some food and drinks from places few tourists know. And anything doable, I guess. Haha

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Japan, Philippines
