ABOUT ME

I am in Oahu visiting my hubby at the moment (staying in Kapolei). Will stay till mid October. Having a lot of time to do stuff so if you are keen on hanging out just leave me a message.

I´m spontaneous, down-to-earth, love to laugh, freedom-loving, fair-minded, curious and sometimes forgetful *whisle*
I am totally afraid of heights but I did skydiving. I don't like to keep fears so I rather challenge them. I love to try out new things so I am always open for suggestions. I think that it's important to be thankful for small things in life. A person smiling at you while walking down the street, a beautiful flower on the side of the road, a night without clouds where you can see the stars... there are so many beautiful things around you if you are just willing to open your eyes and look for them.

My passion is the Ocean and everything that is in it. I lived in Exmouth (Western Australia) near the Ningaloo Reef for almost 2 years and I can´t imagine anything more beautiful and more graceful than all the inhabitants the Ocean keeps. I swam with a 7meter whaleshark and I have been on a Dwarf Minke Whale trip in June 2011 which was one of the best things in my life I have ever experienced :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted once at my home in Germany. We cooked traditional german food with my mum. We tried german beer, sausage, cheese and so much more. We went to the historic part of the town to see the old timbered houses and the castle.

I was hosted twice in Australia which was a better experience than what I've even expected. We swam with whalesharks, snorkeled the Ningaloo Reef and I know how to use a speargun now :)

I met a lot of people for hiking, snorkelling, exploring ... it is always really fun :)

Adam Sandler and Nicolas Cage are my favourite actors,
but I also like Kevin James and Drew Barrymore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

EXMOUTH and the Ningaloo Reef (AUSTRALIA)
- one of the most impressive things I have ever seen and I was really lucky to see was the hatching of green sea turtles and loggerhead turtles
- swimming with a wild pot of dolphins that decided to stay with me for 10 minutes
- beside that how lucky do you have to be to snorkel off shore and see a 2,5 meter tawny nurseshark and a shufflenose ray about the same size only 50 meter from the beach
- and how amazing is it to see one of the most deadliest animals in the Ocean which most people don't see in years living on the Reef... the Blue Ring Octopus
- and how many people have ever seen a baby mantaray... I was lucky :)
- and last but not least it is not too bad to be able to swim with a 7 meter whaleshark ... the biggest fish of the ocean

HOME - sometimes I realize that some people never were lucky to experience what this word means and how special it is to have a good family and real friends that stand behind you whatever happens

I can help you to get over fears as I always have seen fears as a challenge to myself. Sometimes you just need someone else to help you get the courage ;)
AND I can teach you how to snorkel and free-dive as the ocean is like my home
