ABOUT ME

Hello my name is Bernard Mathis. I am a 19 year old student studying film in Los Angeles! I work as a DJ at a Strip Club on Hollywood blvd. (I know that sounds crazy, but it's a very fun job, lol!)
I moved to Los Angeles 2 weeks after my 18th birthday to pursue my dreams, and I've been doing pretty good so far! I study film at the Los Angeles Film School, and I'm going for my associates in film science. I have a 1 bedroom apartment in Downtown Los Angeles, it's actually my dream place to live. And I absolutely love music, which explains why I'm a DJ.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is simple: "Anything is possible!" It's as simple as that! If you work hard and believe you can accomplish greatness!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to Host couch surfers with my old roommate Daidodavido ( https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/davidodavido/ )
and now that I have moved into my own place I am starting my own couch surfing adventure.

I want to participate by hosting people. I'm so excited that you want to come and visit my city! And I want to make your stay as fun and easy as possible!

Another great thing about my location is that it is walking distance to the metro train. So you don't have to worry about getting lost on buses.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never actually couch surfed before, so I don't have much to share about that, just into helping others and meeting all kinds of people.

兴趣

I am interested in learning about other countries. I hosted an English group once and I learned all about British slang without ever traveling to the UK. I would love to travel the world one day but for now this is the way to learn about the world.
