About Me

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A HOST READ EVERYTHING YOU CAN, SPECIALLY THE SESSION 'WONNABE GUEST', THANKS

IF YOU WANT TO GET A TASTE OF ITALIAN LIFESTYLE AT POPULAR PRICES, I CAN SERVE YOU HOMEMADE ITALIAN DISHES, WINES AND COCKTAILS AT MY PLACE, 10 MINS WALKING FROM CENTRAL STATION, IN A COZY AND INTERNATIONAL (OR TYPICALLY ITALIAN, DEPENDING ON THE OTHER GUESTS -CSs OR FRIENDS-) ENVIRONMENT --> WRITE A PRIVATE MESSAGE FOR MORE INFORMATIONS

I don't like the idea of glorifying myself, so i wrote just few short stuff about me. I've been quite active also as a host so far, so if you want to get a better idea please read the feedbacks, or otherwise have a look to the video i attached. Thanks ✌️

ABOUT ME

50% biker, 50% backpacker, polite, cheerful, open-minded and I don't take myself too seriously

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After few extremely active months as a host on CS I can finally say that, if the guest has the real CS spirit, hosting is just like traveling every day. I had fun, crazy, deep and thoughtful moments, i met lovely and completely different sorts of people (including my sweet parisian gf Astrid) and learned a lot about human being and i really want to keep on all of this until i have the chance and the energy to host.

Last but not least, I really have to improve my English and German (and a bit of French, why not?)..so please..HELP ME :)

Interests

art, events, beer, wine, motorcycle, traveling, movies, music, nature....almost everything, when done with interesting people

Music, Movies, and Books

Any list would be too short or incomplete anyway... let's say, two of the most inspiring movies about traveling are 'the beach' and 'into the wild'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2 weeks wandering like gypsies, motorcycle and tent, in the south of Italy, with two guys I met few days before we left

I know i should write just one thing, but i can't avoid to list also Couchsurfing, probably one of the most amazing things i've done (and i'm still doing) in my life....

Teach, Learn, Share

Laughts, laughts, laughts, laughts, laughts, laughts, laughts

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a sofa bed in my flat and some kind of italian lifestyle experience.

WONNABE GUEST

When I started hosting in april 2016 I really thought i could call on common sense to avoid any kind of misunderstanding. Unfortunately I should say, within all the lovely and interesting people I met, there were few that really left me the feeling that they used my place as a free hostel. And because of these few cases I got almost fed up with hosting through CS. So, even if I still remember the times when I used to mock on hosts that were writing a list of thousands rules, I decided to describe some of the experiences and feelings I had, hoping you will be able to step aside in case you won't be able to satisfy my (basic, I truly belive) standards.

1) First of all, as you probably read, I like to spend time with my guests. So, if you are here to meet your friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, relatives or whatever, just step aside, that would be exactly my definition of 'free hostel'.
2) I don't leave the key of the flat, so you should leave with me in the morning mandatorily at sharp 9 am. So if you need 30 mins to get ready you should wake up at 8.30, it seems easy...no?
3) If you are late you MUST find a way to inform me. Since I try to make some time for my friends and my hobby, I find extremely frustrating when people don't respect my time. You are late because you were visiting a museum 1 hr away from my place? I don't give a f***, you're on vacation and you should organize your life taking into account the needs of your host that, needless to say, is not on vacation. You found it difficult to find a wireless connection to communicate with me? Are you serious? In the age when even the microwave oven has a wifi connection, you did't find one? Just to help you, a short list of wifi connections around Milan: all the airports, almost all the stations and main squares, 99% of the bars... I take 1 hr to answer you're message? If you didn't manage to have a mobile connection, wait at the bar and feed your head reading a good book until you receive my answer. Peace & Love.
4) Don't ask for indication please...I already gave you my address, do you need me to send you google maps screenshots? Really? True story.
5) I like to swim...but not in my bathroom! If you can't get a shower without turning the bath into a swimming pool, just ask for the mop and you will be satisfied.
6) I LOVE TO HANG OUT with my guests, but after few months of intensive hosting I realised I can't buy food and drinks for everyone or I would finish my founds in 10 days...and unfortunately a month has 30 days...but since I know a bunch of Italian good dishes, wines and cocktails, if you like to get a taste of Italian lifestyle at popular prices, just let me know.

As I wrote I dislike strict rules, I think it's just all about common sense and respect. So, apart from the 'rules', if you have the CS factor you shouldn't worry about anything, I'm not really that tough.
