HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a member for quite a while, however I use the organisation rarely. Still if I am somewehre and meet CS people, I want to give and make the most of our meeting

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I previously have been a member of the hospitality club, which has been great. I have met many very nice people from different cultures and backgrounds and I hope to experience something similar from Couch surfing....

兴趣

I have many interests, and I am sure I even don’t know about all of them myself :-) I love laughter, outdoor sports (especially cross country skiing; the weird sport using long wooden stick in order to move forward on snow...), hiking, camping, cycling, paragliding, photography, travelling, meeting people, theatre, cinema, music, cooking and anything which gives me and/or others a good time. Since I became a mother, I did not have much time for my own hobbies,. However I was given a great opportunity to learn about myself as a human - in my opinion, children are the best gift ever and the greatest teachers. We like to spend time together, my sons are being home schooled. I spend a lot of time in the garden, growing our own food with no chemicals. We have many chickens and ducks, cats, that keeps us company - and again, there is so much to be learned from them too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Getting lost in the middle of nowhere in Bolivia in the middle of night; I have seen erupting volcano from an opposite mountain; I have been bitten by an ocelot; I dog sledged in Norway, hitchhiked in the UK, falling in love with New Zealand....and now being a mum to two great boys. Life is full of oportunities.

I suppose one of the good things that are happening in my life is that I tend to motivate people to make positive changes. We are now going to travel for a few months in our self build van. It was not the easiest task, and would do things differently next time again. We want to learn and experience how people live, write about it, take a movie about it - to be able to learn from each other and understand different ways of a life

We like to talk about life and simple things, how to grow fruit and vegetables, how to build a simple house, local traditions and specialities. We like cooking. Now we look in particular to meet people to share their knowledge, so we can write about it.
