Seit vielen Jahren lebe und arbeite ich in einem anthroposophischen Dorf in der Nähe von Paderborn. Seit ähnlich vielen Jahren habe ich den Wunsch, noch einmal für mehrere Monate auf Reisen zu gehen.
Jetzt, wo meine eigenen Kinder aus dem Haus sind und ich genug Mut gesammelt habe, ist es endlich soweit.
In den nächsten Wochen wünsche ich mir ein bisschen was von Italien, Spanien, Portugal und hoffentlich auch Marokko sehen und kennenzulernen.

For many years I have been living and working in an anthroposophical village near Paderborn. For a similar number of years I have the desire to go on a trip for several months.
Now that my own children have left the house and I have gathered enough courage, the time has finally come.
In the next few weeks I would like to see a little bit of Italy, Spain and hopefully Morocco and Portugal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ich bin zwar mir Auto und Dachzelt unterwegs, möchte aber gerne auf meiner Reise mit den Menschen vor Ort in Kontakt kommen und ich hoffe, dass Couchsurfing dafür eine gute Möglichkeit ist.
Andersherum freue ich mich darauf in Zukunft Reisende in meinem Zuhause willkommen zu heißen und ihnen die Gegend zu zeigen und an ihren Reiseerfahrungen teilhaben zu dürfen.
Zur Zeit ist Couchsurfing bei uns auch schön möglich, meine Frau ist dann in den nächsten Wochen alleinige Gastgeberin.

Although I am traveling by car and roof tent, I would like to come into contact with the local people on my trip and I hope that couch surfing is a good opportunity for that.
On the other hand, I look forward to welcoming travelers to my home in the future, showing them the area and sharing their travel experiences.
Couchsurfing is also possible at our place at the moment, and my wife will be the sole host for the next few weeks.

Music, Movies, and Books

Auf längeren Autofahrten, die jetzt auch anstehen, höre ich sehr gerne Hörbücher. Die letzten, die mir gut gefallen haben, waren "Qualityland" und "Wie man die Zeit anhält".

I really enjoy listening to audio books on longer car journeys. The last ones I really liked were "Qualityland" and "How To Stop Time".
