About Me

Hi everyone. I'm new to this, but have been couchsurfing a couple of time years ago, as a visitor.
I'm an open minded person enjoying Berlin for its many cultures and visitors as well as long time friends living in Berlin. The mix is interesting.
It is more then ever important to welcome and get to know other cultures and religions, since I believe this is the only key to understand the differences between people and learn, open your eyes to new things and remove this fear of the unknown.
I've travelled a bit in my life and enjoyed it, sometimes as a couchsurfer, mostly though in hostels. Backpacking. Alone and in groups. In the last years I mostly only had sailing trips as vacation.
I'd say im more a calm person, but open and active. I have many interests. Music, Food, Biking, Climbing, Sailing, Photography... etc. and I'd like to share my knowledge of Berlin with people that want it, and also just need a place to crash.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I've started to work (Mon-Thurs) and am now living alone in a two room apartment, there is enough space and time to host, besides the fact that i very much like to meet new people from all over the world.
As it is also a difficult task to find acommodation in Berlin most of the time, so I'm happy to provide my own "four walls" to other people and hopefully be able to help you with your visit.
Under the week, im woking throughout the day, and normaly go bouldering/climbing in the evenings, meet friends etc.

Opening ones eyes to new things is very important and mostly turns out to create very interesting and memorable moments!
