About Me
Aspiring Educator and Community Advocate
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am excited to learn about you and your city! Exploring the United States and meeting people from different backgrounds is something I’ve always dreamt of doing. I believe that our differences should be embraced. My goal is to meet as much people as I can, share memorable experiences and hear from you if you’re down. My biggest take away will be what I learn. Once my travels have ended, I plan to apply what I’ve learned to becoming a better educator. Thanks!

Teach, Learn, Share
Greetings! My name is Bernice and I am a native to the San Francisco Bay Area. Growing up in a environmentally and culturally continuous community, my inspiration and drive to promote justice, community/ecological and public health sticks with me always. I studied Environmental Studies with a concentration in Natural Resource Management (BS) as well as Asian American Studies (BA) during my time in San Francisco State University. Throughout my high school and college years, I worked for a number of outdoor education and environmental justice nonprofits. Recently, I’ve been sharing my energy towards college counseling with risk youth as well as providing private tutoring services. I am a strong believer of the community mindset and equity where we all work together to foster a healthy commune. Thanks for reading a bit about me! Looking forward to meeting you! Cheers!
