About Me

Just visiting LA for a couple of days. Will appreciate any accommodations

I'm 4 hours drive away from NYC. I'm in western Massachusetts. Please don't message asking to stay in NYC because I don't live there

Hello, I am college student backpacking through coastal West Africa for a month from July 25 - August 21. I'm coming from Ghana all the way to Senegal. I'm really chill and quiet. I am spending 2-3 days in each country. I'm travelling on a really tight budget so I will greatly appreciate a couch to sleep on.

My studies focus on the Political Economy of West Africa and that's why I am embarking on this trip to experience and see the region. I was born in Ghana and raised in the United States but moved back to Ghana a year ago to study. I have really loved my time in Africa and I hope to continue enjoying the rest of my time here. Merci and thanks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'm trying to backpack through West Africa on a budget. I really need free accommodation to make this trip work. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to travel through most of the West African countries and want to take advantage of it. I am really hoping to meet some great people who will guide me through my journey.

Afro beats, Reggae, Dancehall, mellow rap, hip pop

Blue is the warmest color, Black Panther, Game of Thrones, US, Get Out

The Alchemist.

I'm usually attached to my phone and honestly I read articles, watch anything that looks interesting on Netflix and listen to music on shuffle mode. I really appreciate anything that comes my way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Martinique was the prettiest island I have seen and it motivated me to continue solo travelling.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation is really all I have to offer. I don't have any money to offer but will gladly help around with anything I could. I'm really cool and keep to myself and don't ask too much of my hosts. I'm hoping people are offering up their couches out of the kindness in their hearts and I hope to do the same when I get back home.

Countries I’ve Visited

Benin, Canada, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Guinea, Liberia, Martinique, Nigeria, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo

Countries I’ve Lived In
