Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Met inspiring people in CS. :-)

Interests

Photojournalism/documentary photography, good music & Coffee. I love watching films but I prefer to do that alone because I tend to pause and rewind and fast forward quite a lot. It's probably because of my poor hearing, my bad eyesight or short attention span.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, Chungking Express, City of Gods, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Before Midnight, Monty Python, The Royal Tenenbaums, 2046 (and I think all Wong Kar Wai films), The Kiterunner (despite getting depressed for 2 weeks after watching), documentaries

Music- I haven't explored anything new lately but so far I like Bonobo, Die Antwoord, Tycho, Foo Fighters, Radiohead

Books- Middlesex by Jeffrey Euginedes, High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, Sandman Series by Neil Gaiman, The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera, Asterios Polyp by David Mazzucchelli, Haruki Murakami

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Survived 4 motorbike accidents in Bagan, Myanmar.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am currently learning German so I would love to meet someone who I can practice with.

I have many things to share. I design, photograph and write.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I haven't met a host who disappointed me. I'm down with anything - exploring places, learning local culture, interesting stories, new cuisine. I'm an introvert who can spend hours talking about anything. I'm not shy but I like doing some things alone.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Indonesia, Philippines
