ABOUT ME

My friends do call me Berni. I am 36 years old and grew up in a big family in carinthia and I loved it. I am very spontanious, easygoing, friendly and correct. My friends would say, that I am openminded, funny and reliable. I got a lot of interests like animals, music, nature, travelling, biking and some kind of sports like icehockey, hiking, and so on...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The most time I am hosting, as you can see at my profile.. I like to share my time with other. To entrust my keys, my flat, my everything, should show, that I'm a woman, who trusts in other people, and of course, that everyone can trust in me.. I work in home office, but a lot. I not always have the time, to show you around, but I can explain a lot, if you are interested. Talking, learning, listening, is the foundation of couchsurfing and it's meaning, so in my opinion.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is wonderful, meeting new people. I surfed in Sweden for 10 days and also hosted many people in Carinthia, Vienna and Vorarlberg. In 2013 I hosted about 15 to 20 different people. I have to admit, it was too much. But I am looking forward to do it in the future.
Every single Couchsurfer was a great guest. It doesn't matter, if they were shy, loud, young, old, female or male. Every day with a couchsurfer, was a very nice day, or evening. :) One couchsurfer stayd for the next 6 month at my home and is living in my old flat for the following year. So, he came and stayed in Vienna.

Centres d'intérêt

There are many things in which I am interested in. Mostly in music and nature. I need these both things to be happy. But there is so many more, I could tell you!
Yes, I started playing the guitar some years ago and want to have my own little farm someday with sheeps, goats, cows, dogs, chicken and that stuff. :D

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love music...especially accoustic.
Reading books is relaxing, but it is hard to find really good books I think.
As I have no TV, I can't talk much about films...:/
The best stories are written by life itselfes.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

My trips have been always very nice, in which great people took part...Vietnam was a great experience, but Ireland was much better. I did the bungee jumping, and it was terrible. :D

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I learned my younger couchsurfers, not to waste our ressources like water...the point is, that I would suggest it to everyone, not just to couchsurfers. We are all part of the world, so we can learn from our neighbour and also from our guests, living thousends kilometers away. It is a bit difficult to explain in English :) The meaning: If you feel like learning for yourself or also showing something to your fellow man, do it. Not just on your trips. And I hope, that I can learn a lot in the near future, when I am on my trips....
