ABOUT ME

I've been living in Thailand for over 4 years now. I came here to teach, have loved it and don't know when or why I'd ever want to leave! I've been teaching English for my whole time here in a few different Thai cities, but now I've returned to my first Thai home-Nakhon Si Thammarat. I'm from Louisiana(USA), the home of spicy Cajun food, hot and humid weather, good music, and good times....So, Thailand's been a perfect new home for me. My boyfriend, Maew, and I have joined Couch surfing because we've heard so many great things about it through friends and family. Maew has lived in Nakhon Si Thammarat for all of his life. He's a musician at a great and truly "Thai-style" open-air bar/restaurant in town. He's a great cook, a great tour guide for all over the South of Thailand, and a great guy :). We'd both be happy to meet any travelers coming to this area in any way that we can. Maew can offer a lot of help to people during the day in Nakhon and he has great connections to some of the most beautiful places in southern Thailand to help you with your next stop.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Maew and/or I can meet you in Nakhon and help you with almost anything you need. We have an extra bedroom and we've also got some tents if you just love camping! :) Maew is free most days to help you with things in the city, and I'm free most nights to make sure you find good Thai food and fun. The best day trips in Nakhon are to waterfalls and beaches nearby so Maew can help take you to these places as long as he's free. Maew can also teach you some things about Thai cooking and Thai language if you're interested! We'd also be happy to help you with travel plans to your next destination whether it be national parks, islands, or something else!
