Plain and simple: I want to meet as many people, see as many places, dance in as many cities, and be part of as many stories as I can.

ABOUT ME

I am a 33 year old teacher. I love to read, listen to music, go to concerts, theater, go dancing, have a great meal, cook a great meal, drink wine, travel, meet new people, write poems and stories. I grew up gay in a pretty conservative environment, and I spent so much of my youth just trying to figure out the differences between what I was being told about the world and what the world actually is, so that is a big part of what I am doing on here!

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in the hope that I can impact even one person in a positive way. If I do that, then my life is well worth having been lived.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friends Chris and Molly have had wonderful experiences both travelling and hosting. When Molly hosted, I was fortunate enough to meet two new friends from Israel and a lovely couple from France. I figured it was my time to make some new friends of my own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow...thats tough. I find the amazing in the small things...a random act of kindness or seeing a shooting star. But if we are talking on my travels, there was an artist colony in Berlin that was just awe inspiring, and being in Holland during the World Cup finals last year....that was pretty great.

Baking...I am a pretty damn good baker...cakes, cookies, pastries...while cooking is an art, baking is a science, and would love to share my passion with someone else
