About Me
My partner and I are traveling to Chile in November. We're starting off in Santiago and hoping to travel the country and meet cool people along the way :) We have both been professional cooks and will definitely jump on the opportunity to cook you up some nice meals in exchange for a place to crash. I (Berta) am an environmental scientist and work for the forest service in Alaska. Jared is a chef at a local restaurant. You can also expect a bottle of wine, some good conversation, and for us to help out with any household chores you need done.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people in whatever area I'm in, and usually need a place to crash for a few nights.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to fold tiny origami cranes, help expand your english vocabulary or show you some awesome cooking skills. We're hoping to pick up some Spanish, as we don't know as much as we want to.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We'll help you do any work you might need done around the house, as well as help with projects. You can expect a nice parting bottle of wine as well!
