I am Berta, a 28-year-old Bulgarian, based in Vienna, Austria.
I am very passionate about meeting new people, sharing stories and learning from one another.
I get easily excited about nearly everything. I am a passionate cyclist, I love hiking and discovering the city on foot. I enjoy reading quite a bit and, of course, the occasional philosophical discussion over a glass of wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a rather new experience. I have been on quite a few meetings and met amazing people, so I finally decided to try it myself.
I am looking forward to sharing parts of my travels with others and learn about new places from locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music that sends out a meaningful message. So I am willing to listen to anything that makes sense to me. I love rock, indie, jazz and 90s Bulgarian hits :)
I have no strict rules when choosing a book. I have come to realise that books come at the right time. If I can't get over the first 1-2 chapters, it means, I better let it ripe and try it at another time. I am currently reading Lord of the Rings and I seem to enjoy it quite a bit :) Before that, some works by Erich Fromm and Marschall Rosenberg.
