About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm considering a long backpacking solotrip starting autumn 2016, right after i graduate. I feel now is the time to do it, because i'm not tied down by anything. Be it a home, family, job, anything that makes doing it in a few years more difficult.

I read a lot of blogs and couchsurfing is constantly in the picture as a great source of human interaction, learning about a certain place and, of course, great accomodation. Staying in a hostel is just miles away from being dropped in a domestic situation.

Interests

As my photos already state, i'm really fond of travelling. Living central in Europe has made it possible for me to visit a lot of my continent, although there is still a lot to visit. Scratched on the bucketlist so far:

Big Cities (more like city trips)
- Amsterdam
- Paris
- London
- Munich
- Brussels
- Barcelona
- Prague
- Budapest

Countries in General
- France (practically everywhere)
- Italy (north)
- Portugal (hitchhiking)
- Iceland (roadtrip/camping)
- Ireland (Backpacking)

Next to travelling, i'm really into music. I play the guitar and i sing in a band. I found that i really like reading during holidays, cause it feels like the only time you can clear your head and dive into it.

I'm into sports and would describe myself as a sportsminded person, but it's not like i'm in any club. Active for sure.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything with a good guitar riff and a nice voice!
As for books, i don't really know what i like. A bit of everything. Read some detectives, thrillers, all of which i can't remember the name. Also Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, and the one Stephen Hawking wrote.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only one? Let's put it this way. I can be amazed by a simple sunset, although there is one every day. By a nice fish, freshly caught and prepared on a fire on the beach with a grill, because someone was so clever to bring one.

And to mention one: Deciding to hitchhike to portugal (1800km) when you only have 7 days before University starts again back home and with the reason being "i don't have anything else to do"

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing opinions and views on life and how to live, the universe, drunk stories, travel experiences.

Learning and teaching new languages or getting better at the ones i don't know that well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All of the above
