Hello, we are Marion and Bertrand! For a few years now, we have been immersed in the wonderful world of cycling. In November 2022, it's time for the big move: we're leaving Paris to cycle Europe and Asia! No more office work, just the joys and sorrows, the encounters and the freedom that cycling brings 🤩

We've cycled 13 000 km through 20 different countries, and met hundreds of incredibly nice people. We're still hungry for more adventures and encounters! 🥰

We've recently reactivated our Couchsurfing account. As cyclists we regularly use Warmshowers (kind of Couchsurfing for cyclists), to host and to be hosted, and we have always met great people! We think that this trip is a good opportunity to get back to business with Couchsurfing, so let's meet and share stories! 👌

We met so many warm and welcoming people while traveling, though Internet or directly on the road, that we can't wait to give back to the community when we'll have a home again, probably in Paris 🥰 Our list of ideas and tips about « how to be the perfect hosts » is ever growing 🤓

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

TOGETHER:
➡ For sure, the bike trip we're doing right now! So many unforgettable encounters! 🔥
➡ Participated to a few European burns, participative art and music festivals in the same spirit as Burning Man. Nowhere festival, the Spanish one, is taking place in summer, in the middle of a desert! 🏜️
➡ Participated to a lot of Manhunt, crazy event taking place at night in a forest near Paris, where you have to survive in the dark and go to bases, not being captured by zombies that are all around you. Thrilling nights! 🧟‍♂️

BERTRAND:
➡ Hosted poker nights at my place in Paris: 130+ games, 100+ friends came to play during more than 5 years! Awesome gang, and so many nice memories!
➡ Learned how to DJ to play in a festival some great disco, funk and house music. Turned out the crowd was not as crazy as I thought they would be, but that was still a fun experience 😁

Teach, Learn, Share

TOGETHER:
➡ We often cook for our hosts a French dessert, our not-to-be-missed « mousse au chocolat » 💛
➡ We were part of a gospel choir in Paris, so warm up your voice, we may have a chance to sing a song together 😉
➡ We can share you all the data we keep track of about our bike trip. If you're a data geek, you'll love it! If you're not, you'll become one! 🤓
➡ We can recommand you some very nice French movies, give you tips about Paris... 🗼
➡ And probably many other things we didn't think of, yet!

BERTRAND:
➡ I can teach you how to play poker or Complots, a quick and very funny bluffing game we carry with us! ♣️
➡ I also can try to teach you how to pronounce properly my name in French, ahah good luck with that! 😬
