About Me
Hi there! My name is Bertug, and I'm a passionate traveler who loves to explore new places, meet new people, and immerse myself in different cultures. I was born and grew up in Turkey, moved to the Netherlands at October 2022. I have been working in the IT industry for almost four years. My biggest motivation when moving to here was to see as many places as possible and meet good people.
One of my biggest passions is electronic music. I love going to festivals and concerts, and I'm always on the lookout for new artists to discover. I also enjoy exploring the local music scene in the places I visit, so if you know of any cool electronic music venues or events in your area, I'd love to check them out!
In addition to music, I'm also a big fan of art galleries and historical places. I love learning about the history and culture of the places I visit, and I find that art and architecture can tell us so much about a society and its values. If you're into these things as well, I'd be happy to share some of my favorite galleries and historical sites with you.
As a Couchsurfing host, I'm friendly, respectful, and easygoing. I enjoy sharing meals and conversations with my guests, but I also understand the importance of privacy and personal space. If you're looking for a host who can show you around and give you some insider tips on the local scene, I'm your guy!
So if you're a fellow music lover, art enthusiast, or history buff, feel free to send me a message and let's connect! I'm always excited to meet new people and share new experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First and foremost, I love to travel! Whether it's exploring a new city, hiking in nature, or soaking up the local culture, I'm always looking for new adventures. But as much as I enjoy traveling, I also believe that the best way to experience a new place is by connecting with the locals. That's where Couchsurfing comes in!
Couchsurfing is more than just a way to save money on accommodation or meet new people. It's a community built on trust, respect, and generosity. When I travel with Couchsurfing, I know that I'm staying with people who are genuinely interested in getting to know me and sharing their knowledge and experiences. And when I host travelers, I'm able to give back to the community by providing a safe and welcoming space for others to stay.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am living in a spacious and quite large flat with my 2yrs old cat. I can host my guests in an IKEA L-shaped sofa as max 2 person. I'm not bad at cooking, but I can be lazy sometimes. You can use the bathroom and take a shower whenever you want.
