About Me

Hello, my name is Beshoy, and I hope you’ve already smiled today, even if just once. A smile has a magical way of connecting us.

I’m a traveler who believes that life is about collecting real memories, not just making plans for “one day.”
My philosophy is simple: I aim to die with memories, not dreams. Life is meant to be lived fully and authentically, so don’t just dream your life—live your dreams.

For me, travel is not about escaping life. It’s about living it more fully. Moving across countries has also helped me move beyond fears, comfort zones, and old versions of myself. Every trip teaches me something new, especially through the people I meet along the way.

What I value most is human connection. I genuinely enjoy deep conversations, cultural exchange, and hearing people’s stories. Some of my best travel moments didn’t happen at famous places, they happened over coffee, shared meals, or late-night talks with people I just met.

What I do:
• Scuba Diving Instructor, sharing the underwater world and ocean lifestyle
• Tour Guide in Europe, showing both famous spots and hidden gems
• Travel Photographer and Blogger, capturing moments and stories from the road

I deeply enjoy meeting people from diverse cultures, learning about their lives, motivations, and passions. These experiences inspire me, and I love sharing my own stories and insights in return.

I’m respectful, easygoing, clean, and grateful for any place I’m welcomed. I’m happy to share stories, cook together, explore your city, or just hang out and exchange perspectives on life and travel.

I believe that what stays with us is not money or things, but relationships, experiences, and the memories we create with others. That’s what I’m really traveling for.

If you’re open to hosting, I’d love to meet you, learn about your culture, and share a bit of my journey with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The Big Picture

Couchsurfing is not about the couch or free accommodation. It’s about human connection. It’s about opening our homes, our minds, and our lives to each other. Through cultural exchange, we don’t just visit places, we understand them. Real connection across cultures is what truly makes the world feel smaller and more human.

By welcoming each other, we build bridges between countries, continents, and ways of thinking. Couchsurfing isn’t just changing how we travel, it’s changing how we relate to people and to the world.

A tourist can have fun, but often only sees what’s on the surface. They visit the highlights and go home mostly unchanged.

A traveler steps outside their comfort zone. They try to live like a local, even if only for a short time. When they return home, they bring back something much more valuable than photos, a deeper perspective, meaningful memories, and a better understanding of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I couldn’t swim for most of my life. A few years ago, I fell in love with the sea, and that completely changed my path. Today, I’m a scuba diving instructor, and it still feels crazy to me that I now teach and even test my students in swimming.

Another experience that truly changed my mindset was walking the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain. I walked 650 km in four weeks. That journey pushed me physically and mentally, and it gave me a completely different perspective on life, simplicity, and what really matters.

If you don’t know the Camino, I honestly recommend looking it up. It’s more than just a hike, it’s a powerful personal journey that can change how you see yourself and the world.
