Hi! I'm Bill. I recently quit my job and I'm traveling around Asia with my best mate who I met in school.
I like learning new languages, driving, cycling, meeting new people, playing the piano, swimming (I take part in the annual christmas day swim in Penarth where I live!) and programming (maybe slightly lame that I list it as a hobby but I find it very satisfying to work on my projects)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend recently took me couchsurfing and I couldn't believe that this community of amazing and sociable people existed without me knowing. We stayed for 4 days and saw a lot of cool people come and go, and I would like to meet more of them

Favourite band: Little Dragon - some songs are very bleak and overwhelming, and other songs are very upbeat and cheerful - always something to fit my mood and always good.

Favourite book: 3 Men In A Boat - it was initially meant to be a guidebook for sailing along the river Thames, but turned into a hilarious account of 3 guys' boat trip full of little anecdotes.

Favourite film: Ex Machina - it has robots and fighting
